Winter is Coming

Undergraduate student access to SVAD Film Program production facilities ends at 12:01AM on Wednesday, December 16th.

Undergraduate production students who wish to continue to use editorial facilities after classes end, until the holidays begin, must seek permission from the Operations Manager, Jon Bowen, to do so. Due to the campus wide closing of the university for the holidays, access for graduate students is suspended starting 5:00pm on Wednesday, December 23rd.

The Film Equipment Room is now closed to undergraduate check-outs due to inventory and insurance blackout dates. Graduate check-outs must be completed by no later than Tuesday, December 15th. The Film Operations Desk (FOD) will be running a skeleton crew, with limited hours of operation, effective Wednesday, December 16th. If you need to conduct business in person with the FOD, please make an appointment via phone or email during the break to ensure that someone will be available to assist you.

Undergraduate student access to production facilities returns at 12:01am on Monday, January 11th for students enrolled in production courses for the Spring semester. Graduate student access to production facilities returns at 12:01am on Monday, January 4th for the Spring semester.
