Welcome! Fall 2019

The Film Program Undergraduate Orientation is scheduled for Friday, September 13th at 6:00pm in the auditorium of the Nicholson School of Communication and Media Building, room 101. Please visit the official event page for additional details.

Facility Access: Students who are enrolled in supported production courses should stop by the Film Equipment Room | NSCM 157 to have their UCF ID cards scanned for access to the Film Production Facility. Supported production courses for the Fall 2019 semester are as follows:

  • FIL 4876C – Experimental Cinema I
  • FIL 4162C – Feature/TV Writing I
  • FIL 4301C – Documentary Production I
  • FIL 4428C – Narrative Production I
  • FIL 4434C – Capstone I (Legacy)
  • FIL 4566C – Editing II
  • Film majors enrolled in approved Directed Independent Study or Honors in the Major
  • Film, MFA graduate students

New electronic access locks are inbound for the NSCM building on the UCF main campus. All Film B.A., B.F.A., and M.F.A. students are required to have the latest version of the UCF ID. Free upgrades are available at UCF Card Services if you have your old ID to turn in. Please upgrade to this card before attempting to gain access to NSCM Production Facilities.

The latest UCF ID (above) has the required radio frequency chip to work with the new locks.
